Making new memories through repairs, restoration and recreation
Jewellery is often more than something worn. It can hold personal meaning, memory, and connection to people or moments in time.
I offer careful repair and restoration of pieces that have been worn, damaged, or set aside. I also rework existing pieces, using original metals or stones to create something new, whilst preserving their meaning.
This can include work such as repairing broken clasps, restoring worn settings, resizing, or even remodelling.
Each piece is approached individually. Some require a straightforward repair, while others need more considered work to restore both structure and wearability.
Where possible, I aim to retain the character of the original piece. Signs of age and use are not always something to remove, but something to respect.
My approach is steady and considered, allowing the work to be done properly rather than quickly. Understanding that these pieces are not always replaceable, they are treated with the care they deserve.
If you have a piece you would like me to look at, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss what may be possible.
